Good Sniffs

I have mentioned a couple times on my Facebook page about how Mom has started a graphic design business (you can click that and see her shop!). Did you click it? Look at the name of the shop! Pretty pawsome. I thought I would share it here, but not just that; I have a little story, too.

Mom had a client who sells soaps on Etsy (yeah, you can click that, too) and she was really excited about it. She really loves homemade soap. I don’t get it. Why do you humans like to be clean? It’s doggone perplexing.

Anyway, she and this client really hit it off and have become friends, sort of. It is sort of like how you are all my friends, but we haven’t actually met, I guess. Mom did some extra work for her because she was having so much fun with it and as a thank you the Soap Lady sent her a bunch of soaps and samples.

As I said, I don’t understand the clean thing, but I have to say that those soaps smelled pretty good. I kept going over to sniff the box again and again. Mom said it’s because they have natural scents so they didn’t tickle my nose too much. That’s good for Dad, too. Have you seen the size of his nose? He has a pretty good sniffer, too.

Mom and the human puppies opened all the little packages to get a closer smell. They have puny human-sized noses so they have to get in really close to get a good sniff. They loved them all. Mom has been using 2 of them all week. She said she liked their sniffs best so tried them first. One is called Tupelo Honey. Yum. And the other is called Inspire and has peppermint and sage in it. It’s not very strong mint, which is good. She doesn’t smell like candy when she is done. She smells pretty good, actually, aside from being so clean.

So, anyway, since we love awesome people we wanted to tell you about the Soap Lady and her sniffy soaps. And if you click the link to her shop you will see Mom’s design work! Not too bad.

Thank you, Donna! We use a lot of aromatherapy at our house, too. Mom used essential oils on me sometimes (I am not a fan, but she says it’s good for me!)
